To all the passionate Ducks fans that read this page I’d like to introduce myself. I was recently selected to be a writer here. I had most recently been a pretty prominent poster on over on reddit.com on the Anaheim Ducks subreddit. I felt that I was finally ready to bring my passion for the Anaheim Ducks and channel my desire to cover the team to one place. I want to provide the best quality coverage of the Ducks and also present my opinions to a larger audience. My main goal is to create a more engaged community in which Ducks fans can discuss the team and the sport of hockey. I hope my opinions and unique writing style can generate some buzz and I invite all fans to be part of the discussion.

A little bit about myself, I am recent graduate from the University of California, Irvine. I finished with a double major in Criminology, Law & Society and Psychology and Social Behavior. I was born in Anaheim and have been raised a Ducks fan. The most memorable moment for me was game 6 of the 2003 Stanley Cup Final. My family was all together at my grandfather’s house when the infamous Kariya goal was scored. This is one of my most vivid memories from growing up as a hockey fan and solidified my love of the game.

One of the areas I am most interested in covering is the development of prospects for the Ducks. It is an exciting time to watch the Ducks as a wave of fantastic young players may soon be  a major  part of the Ducks franchise. I am also very interested in the management of the club and spend a lot of time obsessing over roster moves and the overall playing style of the Ducks. I am also a first time season ticket holder for the Ducks this season. I hope to also bring updates from experiencing the games at Honda Center itself to the followers of this blog.  To say I live and breathe the Anaheim Ducks might be a bit of an understatement.

I am becoming a very active twitter user. My page is filled with hockey news from around the NHL. I like to keep a keen eye on all of the developments around the league. I also recently tried my hand at live tweeting and did so for the Fedorin Cup. I may continue that trend at Ducks games. The next piece I will be bringing you all is about my experience at the Fedorin Cup, please stay tuned for that article. I hope this is the start of a great opportunity for me.
