Viktor Fasth Perfect In Net For Ducks 10th Straight Win.

Anaheim, CA – Viktor Fasth earned his second career shutout last night and Daniel Winnik ended a his season high 18-game goal drought to start the Ducks scoring. For the first time all season the Anaheim Ducks gained two points on the league and conference leading Chicago Blackhawks.

First Period:
The opening frame begin with Winnik’s sixth of the year at the 1:15 mark into the game. After that, the first was fairly uneventful as Fasth stopped all 10 of the Flames’ shots.
Second Period:
Bobby Ryan kicked off the Ducks’ attack late in the middle frame at the 13:38 mark with his seventh of the year. Sheldon Souray netted his fifth of the year to extend the Ducks’ lead. Fasth continued to douse the Flames stopping all 12 shots he faced.
Third Period:
The Ducks had another great period in the final frame. Fasth continued to stand on his head and preserve the shutout. Captain Ryan Getzlaf, who just signed a contract extension, notched his 10th of the year to seal the game at the 16:18 mark.
