San Jose, CA – The Ducks are geared up and ready to start divisional play, but it will be no easy task. They will start off against the division leading San Jose Sharks. The Sharks hold the second best record in the NHL 5-0-0.

The Ducks come into the game fresh off a stellar debut by goalie Viktor Fasth against the Nashville Predators. Daniel Winnik has been nothing short of stellar either. The former Shark forward will be making his first trip back to one of his old barns, the HP Pavilion, since signing with the Ducks this past off-season. Winnik is in his sixth season and is having a break out year so far.

The Sharks come into tonight’s contest off of a 4-1 victory against the Vancouver Canucks on Sunday. The division leader also has a forward with a hot start in Patrick Marleau as he has 13 points (9 G, 4 A) in the first five games of the year.
