The St. John’s Ice Caps and The Norfolk Admirals wrapped up the weekend series in front of a sellout crowd in Norfolk, Virginia. Eddie Pasquale stood tall in net for the Ice Caps shutting the door on 28 Admiral shots. Ice Cap Spencer Machacek scored the only goal of the tilt during the middle stanza.

Admiral’s goalie Viktor Fasth put on a shock and awe performance stopping 19 shots despite letting in a goal. Norfolk was 0 for 5 on the power play while their opponents were 0 for 8 on the P.P. Yawney’s troops outshot St. John’s 28 to 20.

The Admirals play 3 games in 3 days this weekend. Norfolk will travel to Charlotte, North Carolina to face the Charlotte Checkers in an early evening contest starting at 5:00 pm at the Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte today. The Admirals and Checkers will rematch Wednesday night at Scope Arena in Norfolk.
