Komets Get Win Against The Wings

Kalamazoo, MI - The Komets continue their dominance over the Wings with a 4-1 win last night.

Thomas Beauregard got things started with a power play goal 8:19 into the game. Brett Smith scored a short handed goal 6:44 into the second.

Eric Giosa continued the scoring nine minutes later. The third period saw the Wings (11-15-3) get on the board, but Giosa iced the game on an empty netter.

The Komets (15-13-2) did improve their special teams play with opening goal.

The Komets return home tonight to face Elmira at 7:30 PM EST (4:30 PM PST).
