Komets Look To Get Two Points Tonight Versus Trenton

Fort Wayne, IN – The Komets will finish their week of play by hosting the Trenton Titans for the first time ever in either franchises’ history tonight. Trenton resides in the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference and holds second place with 28 points, trailing division leader Reading by 13 points. Trenton is 4-0-1 in their last five games. The Titans are 5-2-3 in the last ten games. This is the only meeting of the season between the teams barring a match-up in the playoffs.

Trenton is coming off of a 6-3 victory last night over the Evansville Icemen that included 3 power play goals. The Komets are returning home from Kalamazoo off of a 5-3 win versus the Wings.

The Komets are coming in to tonight’s contest third in the Central Division with 30 points, trailing division leader Cincinnati by 4 points. Fort Wayne is 2-2-1 in the their last five games and 5-4-1 in the last ten.
