Reading, PA – Ryan Lasch had a big night, but that was the only good thing of the night. Lincoln Kaleigh Schrock did, however, scored his first goal of the season.

The game seemed well in hand going into the third period at 4-2. The Komets (12-10-1) then proceeded to give up four unanswered goals.

This was the first meeting between the Royals (17-7-1). The Komets had won four of their last six games. While Reading came in winning nine of their last eleven.

Lasch scored the last Komet goal of the night in the second. Schrock also scored there in the second. Daniel Maggio was penalized for elbowing which lead to the Royals’ Denny Urban scored the game winning goal on the power play at 13:57.

The Komets next game is later on tonight against the Wheeling Nailers at 7:00 PM EST (4:00 PM PST). Audio of the game is available on the Komets website. There are highlights of last night’s game available through the Fort Wayne Journal Gazette.
