First of all, go here to stay up to date on their simulation of the 2012-2013 NHL season. They just finished the sixth week of their simulated season, which includes games from November 13 to November 18. And so far in their simulation, the Ducks are struggling mightily. They currently sit in last in the Western Conference with a record of 3-12-2, good for 8 points, good for last in the entire league. Hey were in place to get the #1 overall pick!!!

Anyway, the games they simulated for the Ducks included match ups against Columbus, Tampa Bay and Los Angeles. And in those three games the Ducks had a record of 1-2, with their lone win coming in a shootout win over the Blue Jackets. The Ducks got goals from Corey Perry (2) and Cam Fowler to force a shootout where Bobby Ryan would net the winner. The Ducks would then get shutout two days later by the Tampa Bay Lightning by a score of 4-0 and then follow that up with a 2-1 loss to the cross town rival Kings. Fan favorite Teemu Selanne netted the only goal for the Ducks in the loss.

I plan on doing a weekly update for their season simulation just like they have been doing and I will also keep tabs on stat leaders for the Ducks as well. Until then, try and keep your heads up Ducks fans.
