Admirals Announce Home Opener

Well folks, the off-season is in full swing and I hope that everyone is finding a way to get their hockey fix. Despite it being over 90 degrees almost everyday where I live, I’ve found a ray of hope that started to get my hockey blood flowing again.
The Norfolk Admirals, the AHL affiliate of the Anaheim Ducks, announced their home opener which will occur on October 12th. This only means that the date for the home opener has been set. This does not announce when the Admirals season begins or their opponents for the season. One thing is for certain; the Admirals will battle against their Eastern Conference foes the Hershey Bears, WBS Penguins, Syracuse Crunch, and the Binghamton Senators.
The Admirals will play one home game away from Scope this year. Norfolk will play in the Verizon Center, home of the Washington Capitals, where they are scheduled to take on the AHL affiliate of the Capitals, the Bears. The date and time of this function will be announced in the future when the NBA schedule finalizes.
I would like to thank everyone who tweeted his or her condolences when my Grandfather passed away on August 2. That is why I have not posted recently. He was one of my biggest fans and told all his friends about my work. Once again on behalf of my family, thank you. Well folks, the off-season is in full swing and I hope that you find a way to get your hockey fix.
