2012 NHL Awards Show Results

Tonight in Las Vegas, Nevada, the greatest hockey players in the world were joined by thousands of fans, celebrities, some who tried to be funny, and the
musical
group Nickleback. Despite the elaborate display, the Awards Show was not that great to be perfectly honest. Comedian Tracy Morgan had a skit where he was a player for the New York Rangers during the filming of HBO’s 24/7, which was ehh. Actor Will Arnett probably had the only skit that I could watch fully without the temptation of going to my kitchen and grabbing a knife and….well you get my point. Arnett made a few different parody videos of Brendan Shanahan’s suspenion videos. They were, aside from the awards being handed out and Evgeni Malkin speaking English, the best part of the show. However, New York Ranger’s goalie Henrik Lundqvist did have a nice little Freudian slip during his acceptance speech for the Vezina Trophy, so that was nice. Some would say Henrik did his best John Tortorella impression. However, here are the results from the show:
