The past few days we have seen several trades go down, and I wanted to briefly touch up on them. The Anaheim Ducks haven’t been in anything and I don’t think they will anytime soon.
Trades:
-Los Angeles Kings trade Jack Johnson(D) and a first round selection in 2012 or 2013 to the Columbus Blue Jackets for Jeff Carter(C)
-New York Rangers trade Wojtek Wolski (LW) to the Florida Panthers for a third round selection and prospect Mike Vernance (D).
-New Jersey Devils send Kurtis Foster (D), Nick Palmieri (RW), Stephane Veilleux (LW), and two draft picks to the Minnesota Wild for Marek Zidlicky (D).
-Phoenix Coyotes send Curtis McElhinney (G) and two draft picks to the Columbus Blue Jackets for Antoine Vermette (C).
Extensions:
-Edmonton Oilers extend Ales Hemsky to a two-year deal for $10 million
-Kings extend Willie Mitchell to a two-year deal for a reported $7 million
