Which Games to Watch Tonight

The playoff push is going strong, as the Ducks are FOUR points out of a playoff spot. The Anaheim Ducks had a phenomenal win last night and the Coyotes were able to beat the Flames.

There are a few important games on tonight that we should be focusing on.

-Dallas Stars vs. Minnesota Wild:

Dallas Stars: They claimed eigth place last night, so they will be looking for a win to hold that lead. They currently have 66 points and they need those two points to keep their spot

Minnesota Wild: The Wild are only 1 point ahead of the Ducks in 12th place. Two points would put them closer to playoffs and bump them up to 11th place.

Who we should root for: The Minnesota Wild. If the Stars win, it brings the 8th seed further away from us. Minnesota will move ahead of the Ducks, but we are focusing on the playoffs, not individual teams.

– Colorado Avalanche vs. Columbus Blue Jackets

Columbus Blue Jackets: They have zero chance of playoffs, so they can play the role of stopping somebody else from making it. Fun stuff.

Colorado Avalanche: The Avalanche are in 11th place. With a win, they would be in a 4 way tie for 8th place (assuming Dallas loses).

Who we should root for: The Columbus Blue Jackets. Obvious choice. They won’t effect the Ducks in any way and will keep the Avs from getting to the 8th place seed.
