George Parros Voted As One Of the Toughest Players
By Editorial Staff
Over at Player Polls they did various surveys including topics such as Which Team is Most Underrated, Who Has the Hardest shot etc.
Unfortunately, the Anaheim Ducks didn’t make most of the final results, but there were a couple.
George Parros was voted 5th overall for the Toughest Player in the NHL. He received 4% of the votes. Milan Lucic was the number one choice, followed by Zdeno Chara, Shawn Thornton and Brian McGrattan.
Parros and his stache have earned respect around the NHL as being a tough guy. The Bruins were an obvious choice due to them being an all around aggressive team. It’s nice to see him get some credit.
The Ducks did get voted in another subject, but it wasn’t the best one….
Honda Center was voted 3rd overall for having the worst ice to play on. They trailed only the Bank Atlantic Center (Florida) and the Tampa Bay Times Forum (Tampa).
I can’t say I completely disagree to be honest…. The Ducks have seen their fair share of bad bounces and sketchy ice.
