Playoff Push

I am going to try and do a weekly update on the Anaehim Ducks current playoff push. Just a brief recap of games, how far they are from the playoffs and all that good stuff.
Current Standings:
- The Ducks are 13th in the Western Conference with 58 points.
- There are 4 teams in front of them that are not in a playoff spot (Minnesota, Dallas, Colorado and Calgary)
- The Ducks are 7 points out of the 8th place seed.
- They have 24 games remaining in the season
- 6-1-3 in their last 10
The Past Week:
The Ducks have today off, but there is a big game between the Dallas Stars and the Phoenix Coyotes. They most recently lost to the New Jersey Devils in the shootout. On Tuesday and Wednesday they had a great come from behind wins against the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Minnesota Wild. They also dominated the Columbus Blue Jackets last Sunday.
The Ducks are definitely making their way towards the playoffs. This road trip is crucial for the Ducks and there only two losses were in overtime. This is a team that wants to win.
