Ducks Keep Momentum Rolling, Beat Canucks 4-2

The Anaheim Ducks kept their momentum going tonight by beating the Vancouver Canucks tonight by a final score of 4-2.

The Ducks got another strong performance from Jonas Hiller as well as solid third line scoring to lead them to victory. Jason Blake has been making himself known after returning from injury. He scored 2 goals and had 1 helper in tonights win.

The Ducks opened off scoring with a goal from Nick Bonino 6 minutes into the 1st peroid. He and Blake had been firing continuous shots and Bonino was able  to cash in on a rebound.

The Canucks tied it up when the Ducks took a bad penalty and Cody Hodgson capitalized.

The second period was all Ducks, as Bobby Ryan scored early into the period and Blake notched his first of the night.

The third period was much of the same, with Hiller continuing his strong performance. Blake scored his second of the night to give the Ducks a 4-1 lead. The Canucks were able to score one more, when Mason Raymond got one by, but it wasn’t enough.

The Ducks have been on a tear their last few games. They are 5-0-1 in their last 6 games. In Hiller’s last five games played, he is 3-0-1, with a .939 SV% and 1.38 GAA.
