Devante Smith-Pelly Out 4-6 Weeks

Anaheim Ducks rookie Devante Smith-Pelly is out 4-6 weeks with a fractured left foot. He blocked a shot during Team Canada’s 8-1 win over Finland at the 2012 IIHF World Junior Championship.
Smith-Pelly has had a decent rookie season with the Ducks, scoring 3 goals with 2 assists and a -10 rating. He had been looking much better the past few games before he was loaned to Team Canada for the World Junior Championships.
Unfortunately for him, he will miss the rest of the tournament, which would have been a great opportunity for him to grow as a player.
