Looking Into The Elmira Jackals…Wait, Who?!

Were you aware the Ducks had an ECHL team? If so, any idea what the team name is or where they are located? To be honest, I only vaguely knew who they were.

The Elmira Jackals of the East Coast Hockey League are the Ducks ECHL affiliate hockey team. On July 27th, the Jackals and the Syracuse Crunch announced they would be affiliates of the Anaheim Ducks.

The Jackals play at First Arena, which is located in Elmira, NY. They compete in the Eastern Conference and the Atlantic division.

They are currently 1st in their division, 3rd in the conference and 6th in the entire league with a 13-9-0 record. The Jackals are also on a 6 game win streak.

• Evan Barlow(F): Barlow currently has 9 goals, 10 assists and a +2 rating in 13 games. He is 2nd overall in the league.
