George Parros to Miss Four Weeks

George Parros will be out four weeks after having eye surgery done this afternoon to repair a torn retina. Parros took a puck to the eye during Friday’s practice in Detroit.

He is expected to make a full recovery and should be back in four weeks.

Parros currently has one point in 11 games this season with a plus/minus rating of +2 and 21 PIM. While not being a huge contributor on the offense, he brings his grittiness and toughness to amp up the team.
