Maroon and Guenin Assigned to the Crunch

Anaheim Ducks forward Patrick Maroon and Defenseman Nate Guenin have been assigned to the Syracuse Crunch of the AHL.

Patrick Maroon was called up to replace an injured Jason Blake, but never got to see any NHL time. It looks like the Ducks are satisfied with rookies Smtih Pelly, McMillan and Beleskey. He spent last season with the Syracuse Crunch where he assembled 21 goals and 27 assists in 52 games.

Nate Guenin started the season off on the Ducks roster due to injuries to Foster, Lydman and Smaby. With the return of Lydman, his place was limited and he did not last long. He played in two games with the Ducks, scoring a goal in one of them.
