The Ducks official roster has been released! Hockey starts TONIGHT, with the Boston Bruins facing the Philadelphia Flyers. Their first game is tomorrow, against the Buffalo Sabres.

    Maceneur has finally been able to make the roster, but now he needs to hold on. After several great performances, Andrew Gordon earned his spot with the Ducks. Another favorite is Smith-Pelley, who will hopefully do something useful this season..

    As I expected, the Ducks went with 7 defensemen. It will be interesting to see who gets sent down one Lydman and Smaby come back.

    The choice of 3 goalies was expected due to Deslauriers brilliant pre-season performances. Ellis did not do so well, but he is more reliable to keep on the bench. The Ducks need to keep extra precaution in case Hiller’s vertigo symptoms come back.
