Selanne to Decide In September

Selanne initially gave us a deadline of July 1st, but he pushed that deadline back to have surgery on his knee which had been bothering him for most of the season.

A Finnish newspaper caught up with him and Selanne told them that his final decision would be announced in September while he is in California. He also joked about how none of his teammates think he will retire. Looks like we all are going to have to wait a little longer.

Now you may be wondering how I read that article, since it is in Finnish…..

I have stated several reasons why I think Selanne will return, but most of that is just speculation. So will he return? Nobody knows except for Teemu himself.

Heres hoping to one more year!!
