Ducks Sign Rodney

On Tuesday, the Ducks announced the signing of defenseman Bryan Rodney to a one year contract.
Rodney played a majority of the 2010-2011 season with Charlotte of the AHL, setting career highs in goals (9), assists (38) and points (47) in 77 games. The 6-0, 204-pound defenseman ranked 10th among league defenseman in scoring and tied for seventh in assists.
Rodney has played three NHL seasons with Carolina, tallying 1 goal and 12 assists with 12 PIM in 33 career games. He has scored 24 goals, 112 assists and 130 PIM in 239 AHL games.
