Corey Perry won the Hart trophy!!!!

Perry notched 50 goals, 48 assists and a +9 rating in 82 games last season. He also set career highs in goals, points and shorthanded goals. He led the NHL in scoring AND tied for 1st with 11-game winning goals. Obviously, Perry deserves this trophy and there a few who can dispute it. He also had the most third-period tallies with 21 and 28 road goals. He was also tied 5th overall for shorthanded and powerplay goals.

GM Murray had nothing but praise for Perry:

“This is a historic day for the Perry family and the entire Anaheim Ducks organization. Corey deserves this terrific honor following a season that defines what the Hart Trophy is all about.”

Perry also won the Maurice “Rocket” Richard Trophy for leading the NHL in goals.
