Ducks Take On the Sharks

The Ducks only have three more games left to secure their playoff spot. They host the Sharks tonight and are looking to even the series up, in which the Sharks have won 3 of the 6.

Last 10:

San Jose 8-1-1

Anaheim 7-3-0

Ducks: The Ducks look to clinch a playoff berth, in which they will need to win 2 of their 3 remaining games.  They have won 7 of their last 10 games . The Ducks recently suffered a tough loss when TWO goals were called off due to goalie interference and a hand pass. Corey Perry currently has 18 points in the last 9 games. The Perry-Getzlaf-Ryan line also has a combined 41 points in that same span. That line also has 15 points against the Sharks this season.

Sharks: The Sharks have clinched their 4th consecutive Pacific Division title and are looking to spoil the Ducks chances of making it to the post-season. The Sharks recently showed their domination of the Pacific Divison by beating the Ducks, Kings and Coyotes, who could all be potential playoff opponents. Joe Pavelski has 20 points during his 10 game point streak and there is always caution for the dangerous Logan Couture. If Pavelski adds one more goal, the Sharks will have 7 different 20 goal scorers on their team.

Injuries: The Ducks are still without Jonas Hiller, who is suffering vertigo symptoms and the Sharks are without Scott Nichol and Kent Huskins who have upper body injuries.

Another big game for the Ducks who need to win 2. Their next two games are both against the Kings, so one win tonight would be ideal. This will also be good to see how they can hold up against possible playoff opponents.
