They Ain’t Called “The Cardiac Kids” For Nothin’!!!

When Teemu Selanne scored the tying goal with 5 seconds left in the third, I’m pretty sure he levitated. I know the rest of the team did. And when Lil’ Cam Fowler scored the game winner in OT the celebration was postseason-worthy.

I thought the Calgary game was tense, but I’ve watched the Dallas game four times now and the joy just doesn’t go away.

If we didn’t win, we were pretty much buried. Our chances of getting into the playoffs are still slim, but the boys are proving that they WILL NOT GO QUIETLY into that good night.

Last night’s game showcased fantastic performances by Perry, Brookbank, Fowler, Koivu and Selanne – to name just a few. Bobby pasted a few faces to the glass in fine fashion, Big Sexy once again did his impersonation of a Timex watch (takes a lickin’, but keeps on tickin’), Emery was absolutely “GLOVELY” in goal, Hillsey looked comfortable on the bench, sporting a gorgeous head of hair inspiring a new nickname – ‘goldilocks’.

Now we face the Preds – again a game we have to win. Geez, this is getting repetitive.

Anyway, if you haven’t seen the hilights, PLEASE check them out! I guarantee you will not be unhappy…that is, unless you are a lame-o Stars fan.

Oh, and by they way, what is it with their arena not drawing more than about 12 people per game? And the ultracreepyweird dude behind the net in the sports coat with no one around him, slamming on the glass for three hours straight?

I’m serious. Watch a replay. There’s a guy behind the net who spends the entire game slamming the glass. Is he autistic? Retarted? Just plain stupid? YOU DECIDE!
