BEAUCHY’S BACK! … But Darth Hiller’s Out

**Doin’ the happy hockey dance**

Remember a defenseman named Francois Beauchemin in 2007? Remember how no two announcers could ever agree how to pronounce his name (is it ‘bow-sha-may’ or ‘bow-sha-min’?)

Well, no matter how you say it, the big B is back!

It is too bad that his return is due to the loss of Joffrey Lupul, but Bob Murray’s statement kinduv says it all: “He’s worked very hard to return from a serious ailment and we hope he can get his career back on track.”

Beauchy was acquired in a trade with the Toronto Maple Leafs in exchange for right winger Lupul and defenseman Jake Gardiner.

Jonas Hiller still isn’t feeling up to snuff and is being held out of tonight’s game as a precaution. Which means Curtis McElhinney will have his second straight start and will be backed up by Timo Pielmeier from the Elmira Jackals (ECHL).
