Yeah, we’ll take a three game winning streak, but if we keep going like this, we’re gonna kill Hiller.
While the rest of the team were skating around with their thumbs up their butts, Goldilocks was performing some amazing moves between the pipes – at times, so acrobatic, he looked like he was auditioning for Cirque du Soleil!
Hiller made 19 saves in the third, none more amazing than the Jack Skille left pipe attempted sneak attack.
When the arena announcer started to call the three stars, one of our commentators said “Hiller, Hiller and Hiller”. No truer words have been spoken in a while. Especially after I’ve bagged on the guy. If he keeps going like this, he’s going to be true star material.
Now, on to Duncan Keith attacking Teemu Selanne. WHAT WAS UP WITH THAT?! He actually got Teemu so pissed off that the Flash was ready to throw down, but Mr. Teeth retreated with his tail between his legs. A very bizarre and uncalled for incident.
If the Ducks want to at least make a stab at getting to post, they’ve got to do what Getzlaf said not more than a few games ago, GRIND IT OUT. We win against the Flyers and the Blackhawks but not against the Habs? Not acceptable gentlemen, not acceptable.
In other news, Nick Bonino has been sent back to the Crunch, Getzlaf is recovering from a broken schnoz, no word when we are going to see Big Sexy again and Cam Fowler continues to impress.
