Tonight's Lineup vs. Flyers
By Omar Zaman
Although it’s not official, Petteri Nokelainen will probably play his first game of the regular season tonight. He has been recovering from a groin injury but has been practicing with the team for a few days and is now waiting for Coach Randy Carlyle to insert him into the lineup.
This, of course, means that someone else will have to sit out. The Ducks played well on Thursday but the weakest of the four lines was the fourth line. Nokelainen will take Andrew Ebbett’s spot at center on that line.
Jonas Hiller is also expected to make his second consecutive start. J.S. Giguere will start tomorrow’s game in New York.
The line combinations are the same as last game with the exception of the addition of Nokelainen. Tonights lines are listed below:
FORWARDS
Bobby Ryan – Ryan Getzlaf – Corey Perry
Ryan Carter – Saku Koivu – Teemu Selanne
Joffrey Lupul – Todd Marchant – Evgeny Artyukhin
Mike Brown – Petteri Nokelainen – George Parros
DEFENSE
Scott Niedermayer – Steve Eminger
Ryan Whitney – James Wisniewski
Luca Sbisa – Nick Boynton
