Sharks at Ducks Tonight at Honda Center

The Ducks’ regular season will begin tonight at Honda Center where they’ll take on the team they eliminated in the first round of the last year’s playoffs. The Sharks will be in town for their second game of the season, coming off a rather embarrassing loss to the Colorado Avalanche on opening night.
Although the Sharks didn’t play bad in their first game of the season, they were clearly outplayed by a young Avalanche team that is expected to finish near the bottom of the conference. The Sharks will be looking to avenge that loss at Honda Center and will prove to be a tough first game for the Ducks.
The Ducks played the Sharks in preseason action over a week ago and finished with a 6-0 loss. The Sharks played almost a full lineup while the Ducks held out several regulars, but that might prove to be a psychological advantage for a Sharks team that lost their first game.
